BELIEFS

GOD

There is one God eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. All three persons are co-equal and fully God

(Galatians 3:20; Matthew 3:16-17; John 1:1, 14; Acts 5:3-4)

BIBLE

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and practice.

(2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

HUMANITY

Man was created in God's image. When Adam sinned, all of mankind became separated from God and subsequently we are all born into sin, separated from God, and in need of a Savior.

(Romans 5:12-14; 1 Corinthians 15:22)

SALVATION

Jesus Christ, through His death, burial, and resurrection, is the only way a sinful person can come to God. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, and in Jesus Christ alone.

At the point of our salvation we are given the Holy Spirit who seals us unto the day of redemption. All who are saved in this Age of Grace become members of the Body of Christ which is called the Church.

(1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9; 4:12, 30; Romans 12:4–5; 6:23; Colossians 1:18, 24)

THE CHURCH

The Church is the Body of Christ composed of all who believe. The Church is the manifestation of Jesus Christ as we continue His work. As members of the Body of Christ, we are also members of each other and so we are to look out for each other's needs. This Church was a mystery until it was revealed to us through the Apostle Paul.

(1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 4:25; Romans 16:25–26; Colossians 1:25–26)

FUTURE EVENTS

The end of the Church age is marked by the Rapture of the Church when believers are caught up "in the air" by Jesus Christ. Following the Rapture, God resumes dealing with the nation of Israel to fulfill His promises to her. This includes a seven-year Tribulation followed by the Second Coming of Jesus Christ physically to Earth to set up the Millennial Kingdom.

(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Philippians 3:20-21; Zechariah 14:4, 9)
